Mehrbano Mahsud
Mehrbano Mahsud is a visual communication designer, illustrator and a social practitioner. She holds a Bachelors degree in visual communication design and a Master’s degree in Development Studies. Her work primarily revolves around developing strong research methodologies, refined conceptual frameworks, and contemporary design theories and work. She has more than 06 years of experience in Education sector which includes working with USAID's Pakistan Reading Project on illustrating and designing their books for Grade- I and II children. She has also been working as a freelance designer and illustrator for the Government of Pakistan for their Single National Curriculum initiative, developing textbooks for different age groups. Her work has also been appreciated in LUMSx, A university – wide initiative by Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to create online digital platform that empower teaching and learning within LUMs and beyond, where she have been part of the team developing online illustrated courses. She also worked with Twig Learning Centre, a specialising O and A-level Chemistry Academy based in Singapore, providing students with their own research oriented designed curriculum. Moreover, she also worked as a Creative Head/ Research Associate for Pak-Afghan Youth Forum (PAYF), working in a development sector. Currently, she is teaching as a lecturer at COMSATS University Islamabad.
