This thesis explores the increasing trend and widespread practice of fake Pirs (spiritual leaders) in Pakistan and investigates how they effect the religious and social lives of communities. In a society where Sufism and shrine culture carry deep spiritual meaning, the rise of fraudulent spiritual figures threatens not only personal well-being but also the moral fabric of society. These fake Pirs often take advantage of vulnerable people, using false spiritual claims and manipulation—sometimes even leading to financial exploitation and physical abuse. The thesis draws to a close by offering Digital Awareness Campaign to reduce the influence of these imposters. It calls for a more active role from religious institutions, greater emphasis on community education, and stronger media oversight to help protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation
