The Boy Who Didn't Draw is both a literal journal and a metaphorical journey—documenting the struggles of those, like myself, who were too afraid to draw out of fear that their art wouldn’t be “good enough.” It speaks to the silent weight of perfectionism that stifles creativity before it begins. But this work is not just about fear—it's about pushing through it. Through raw entries, sketches, and reflections, the journal becomes a space where the imperfect is celebrated and the impossible becomes possible. The thesis argues that drawing is not just a skill but a gateway to freedom, self-expression, and growth. When there is a will, there truly is a way—every line, however shaky, is a step forward. This is a manifesto for anyone scared to start: you can draw anything you can imagine, and that’s more than enough.
