"Pixel Pehchaan" addresses the gap between younger generations and Pakistan’s design industry, caused by limited documentation and visibility of local design history and pioneers. This thesis creates a collaborative, niche print magazine that archives and celebrates Pakistan’s design evolution, past heroes, and current creatives. Inspired by nostalgic magazine culture, it provides an affordable and tangible platform for students and emerging designers to connect with their design heritage, reflect critically, and draw inspiration from the local creative community, as well as support the culture of printable collectives.
