Taluq/تعلُق is an Urdu word that signifies an intimate and close connection between loved ones. This concept can also be related to our cultural roots, such as family bonding and social ties, fostering a sense of emotional and social well-being. This project aims to foster a connection, empathy, and understanding among single parents, their children, and society as a whole.

As a single parent juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities, it can be challenging to navigate your own emotions and thoughts, which makes effective communication with your child difficult. Meanwhile, your child may feel abandoned, leading to emotional and psychological issues.

My project focuses on visual narratives that resonate with single parents residing in urban and semi-urban areas, conveying a message and telling a story that resonates with the audience. I want to create an impact by creating awareness that addresses the issues and provides effective solutions to them. Not only does it speak to me on a personal level, but it also shows my passion for advocating for the rising issues of single parents.
