Amna Hashmi

Amna Hashmi is a visual artist, specializing in the art of Miniature Painting. Focusing upon the linkages between Persian and Mughal illuminated manuscripts with Japanese manga, her work revolves around her primary interest of storytelling and the recording of historical events – exploring the role of myths and folklore, creation of magical and collective imaginary spaces, particularly in the context of modern digital spaces. Her current research focus is on the effects of technology upon the environment and overwriting of indigenous narratives in the process. She is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Art & Design, CUI

Meezan Ali Mir

Meezan Ali Mir is a multimedia artist with specialization in animation and photography, having been working in the Pakistani design and animation industry for more than 9 years. Having industrial experience of working with big animation houses , smart startups and NGOs, his fields of interest include architectural 3D visualization, animated short film production, mobile and PC based gaming industry and multiple campaigns. Currently he is serving the Department of Art & Design, CUI as an Associate Professor, with the aim to give back to the younger generation.

Mudassar Farooq

A graduate of National College of Arts in Communication Design, Mr. Mudassar is still evolving his tastes, testing various expressions. He believes in faithful chase of beauty, expression and meaninglessness. He is ccurrently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Art & Design, CUI.

Anwer Ali

Anwer is a designer and an emerging researcher. He has developed a deep interest in design's social and cultural context and interdisciplinary design learning. Anwer is a member of Design Research Society, UK. In research he is exploring design education through research-oriented practices and practice-oriented research. His special interest includes reflectivity, design pedagogy, digital technologies, and sustainable education. Anwer holds an undergrad degree in design and graduate degree in Art Education.
