Congratulation - A Success Story

The funding project of Dr. Muhammad Khalil Afzal, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science, titled "Multi Objective Medium Access Control Configuration in Wireless Sensor using Machine Learning" under National Research Project for Universities (NRPU), Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan of amount Rs.986827/- has been successfully completed.
The objective of the project is to understand the effect of different parameters on application-specific performance metrics in wireless sensors networks. To provide knowledge to wireless sensors networks-based applications to better meet the service requirements. In addition, create a showcase for robust communication generating a rich dataset for further experimentation. The results achieved from this experiment provide insight into the dynamics of input parameters in determining various performance metrics in WSN/IoT. Based on these findings, a set of recommended values are made available that can be used to fine-tune medium access control parameters depending on specific performance goals and trade-offs, if any. This achievement will potentially enhance the performance and lifetime of WSN deployed in industrial automation, smart cities, agriculture, and the energy sector.
We all congratulate Dr. Muhammad Khalil Afzal for his achievement. Very best to Dr. Khalil.
