Biography:

Dr. Haroon Ahmed is working as a Associate Professor at the department of Biosciences, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Ahmed has 11 years teaching experience. He has authored/co-authored 150 publications in International Journals, 02 book chapters and given >03 scientific presentations at National/International Conferences. Currently, Dr. Ahmed is supervising 07 graduate and 05 PhD students. He has more than 13 years experience in Parasitology/Microbiology/Infection Biology with a comprehensive background in infectious diseases. His principal research areas are Animal Sciences, Parasitology/ Microbiology, Parasite Ecology, Vector borne/Neglected Tropical Diseases and Tropical Biomedicine.
