We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the CUI and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan on 26th April 2024. Under the terms of this agreement, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has pledged to award 10 scholarships to students currently enrolled at COMSATS University Islamabad Campuses.
The details regarding the scholarship program, along with the eligibility criteria is provided as follows:
1) The Scholarship will be named as “Alkhidmat Academic Scholarship Program”.
2) Alkhidmat Academic Scholarship Program will start from the academic year Fall-2024.
3) The Scholarship is applicable to deserving students who have received admission at CUI campuses based on merit, and who cannot afford the tuition fee.
4) ??All students must be enrolled in STEM (stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education degrees.
5) ??The Scholarship will cover the partial tuition fee (Rs.6,500/- per month OR Rs.78,000/- per year) for the entire duration of the undergraduate program.
6) ??Students will apply via the Alkhidmat scholarship portal. After applying, inquiries will be conducted by Alkhidmat teams at districts, and final interviews for the selection of scholars will be jointly conducted by Alkhidmat regional representatives and the CUI body/representative.
7) ? Alkhidmat will sponsor up to 10 scholars, depending on the availability of funds. The total number of scholars may be adjusted based on the number of donors and the amount of funds raised. The students shall be informed that they are Alkhidmat Scholars.
8) ????Payments will be disbursed quarterly to the scholarship recipients' accounts by the donor agency upon receipt of satisfactory academic progress reports from CUI.
9) If any student fails to maintain satisfactory grades according to CUI's benchmarked criteria, the scholarship will be suspended for the next semester by CUI. It will be reinstated once the student achieves the required GPA.
10) ?? CUI will share the results of all selected students for each semester with Alkhidmat Scholarships
11) ??This MOU shall be valid for a maximum period of 5 years i.e. from the effective date till 31st December 2027.
12) ??This MOU may be renewed after its expiry subject to the mutual consent of both the parties in writing.

Alkhidmat Foundation has opened its portal w.e.f from today and students can apply on portal scholarships.alkhidmat.org till 31st October, 2024.
