The Computer Science Department, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus arranged an industrial of BS (CS) students to three prominent software houses i.e: CodesOrbit, Revolve AI, and Tangent Technologies, located in Islamabad. A group of 34 students accompanied by Mr. Mian Muhammad Talha, Lecturer, and Ms. Maha Rasheed, Lecturer had the valuable opportunity to engage with industry professionals and gain firsthand insights into modern software development, including web and mobile development, AI integration, and business process automation.
During the visit, students were introduced to agile development practices, machine learning models, natural language processing, mobile and web app development, and cloud-based solutions. The HR teams from CodesOrbit and Tangent Technologies also provided comprehensive details about their hiring processes, offering guidance on CV building, interview techniques, and overall career readiness. This visit provided the students with practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry standards, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application. All three companies expressed interest in future collaborations with our university, including potential workshops and seminars, fostering continued engagement between academia and industry.
