Subject:     Saudi universities offer a?broad range of subjects?for international students across various educational levels — from diploma to post-doctoral research. Grants:   Funded by the Saudi government. 

  1. Includes full tuition, monthly allowance, medical insurance, accommodation, and round-trip airfare.

Educational Visa for Saudi Arabia 

The?Saudi Education Visa?is designed for: 

  1. Students (all academic stages) 

  1. Researchers 

  1. Trainees 

Purpose:?To enable enrollment in Saudi universities and facilitate?scientific and cultural exchange. 

Visa duration depends on the?length of study or research?and is granted by official educational institutions. 

Eligibility Criteria Must be a non-Saudi national (international student) 

  1. Some programs may prioritize students from countries with educational agreements with the Kingdom 

Academic Qualification 

Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor’s): 

  1. Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent with a strong academic record 

  1. Some universities may require a minimum GPA or specific subject performance 

Postgraduate Programs: 

  1. Master’s programs: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

  1. PhD programs: Master’s degree in a related specialization 

  1. Post-doctoral: PhD with relevant research experience 

Age Requirements 

  1. Undergraduate programs: Usually between 17–25 years 

  1. Master’s programs: Up to 30 years 

  1. PhD programs: Typically, below 35 years 

  1. Short programs and training: Open to all age groups (depending on course requirements) 

Language Proficiency 

  1. Arabic programs: Proficiency in Arabic (some may require proof or testing) 

  1. English-taught programs: IELTS/TOEFL score may be required (typically IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 500+) 

Note: Language requirements vary by university and program. 

Medical Fitness 

  1. Must be medically fit, with required health certifications 

  1. Some universities may request a medical examination report before final enrollment 

Clean Legal Record 

  1. Must not have any criminal record 

  1. A certificate of good conduct may be required as part of the application 

Letter of Recommendation or Endorsement 

  1. Some programs require a letter of recommendation or a nomination from your home country’s embassy or educational authority 

Passport Validity 

  1. Must possess a valid passport for the full duration of study 

  1. Educational visa processing will require a valid passport and entry permit 

Supervisor Approval (for Research Applicants) 

  1. Applicants to graduate research programs (e.g., PhD or Post-Doc) may need to secure prior approval from a Saudi faculty supervisor 

  1. Submission of a research proposal or concept note is often required 

Specific Program Requirements
