| About | I am Ihtisham Ul Haq, an emerging economist with a strong foundation in applied and spatial economics. I have unofficially completed
my MS in Economics from COMSATS University Islamabad after successfully defending my final research project. My MS thesis,
“Export Diversification and Economic Growth: Global Evidence Using Spatial Analysis,” reflects my core research interests in trade,
development, and spatial econometrics.
Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Malakand, where I completed a project titled “Equity,
Discretion, and Planned Development: A Review of the Annual Development Plans of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (1996–2022).” This early
work deepened my interest in regional policy and public finance.
I am proficient in Stata, R, and EViews, and skilled in data analysis, empirical research, econometric modeling, and academic writing.
Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant at COMSATS University Islamabad under the Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship
Program (BNIP), contributing to collaborative projects that address regional and global economic challenges. |
