CERN Technical Student Program 2025 in Switzerland Fully Funded

The CERN Technical Student Program 2025 is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience during university life. This fully funded internship opportunity will allow student to work internationally and enjoy quality time learning in a professional environment. Getting a?fully funded internship?in Switzerland seems like a dream, and CERN is transforming this dream into reality. Furthermore, this?international internship?in Europe will allow student to travel to Switzerland for free. If student are an undergraduate or master’s student in any STEM-related field, then student should apply for the technical student program at CERN.  

 

Course Level: Internship  

 

Subject: IT, Mathematics & Robotics. 

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering. 

  • Material & Surface Sciences. 

  • General/Civil Engineering. 

  • Mechanical Engineering. 

  • Applied Physics. 

Grants: Interns will get a 4 to 12-month contract to work with CERN. 

  • CERN interns will get an allowance of 3452 Swiss Francs/month (net of tax). 

  • Depending on the interns’ circumstances, a supplement is provided if they are married or have children. 

  • In addition, the CERN Technical Student Programme interns will also receive a travel allowance (that includes Economy Class Tickets). 

  • CERN Technical Program 2025 will also provide a health insurance scheme. 

  • Interns will also get 2, 5 days of paid leave per month.

  • In addition, the paid internship in Switzerland is an excellent opportunity to learn technical things in your relevant field and get experience. 

 

Eligibility criteria: Applicant must be a citizen of a CERN Member or Associate Member State. 

  • You should have completed at least 18 months or 3 semesters of your undergraduate studies by May 2025, the next selection round. 

  • You need to be enrolled as a full-time student throughout the internship. 

  • A good understanding of English or French is required.

  • Complete all the required fields. 

  • Upload all the required documents in PDF format (in English or French language). 

  • Complete the application carefully and submit it.
