Webinar on “Technological Innovation Driven Sustainable Economic Development”, January 11, 2022, 1900 hrs.
The Inter Islamic Network on Information Technology in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad is conducting a Webinar on “Technological Innovation Driven Sustainable Economic Development” on January 11, 2022, at 1900 hrs. The Webinar is intended to set down the way forward for deployment of science, technology and innovation for economic development in the developing countries including Pakistan.
The keynote speaker of the Webinar is Prof. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Prof. Sharif is the former Director, APCTT-UNESCAP and Emeritus Professor & Vice President, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. In this Webinar, Prof. Nawaz Sharif will share his thoughts and experiences related to national technological innovation capacity related governance for fostering sustainable economic growth. Prof. Sharif’s presentation will draw upon his many decades of experience in advising governments in the Asia-Pacific region, and international agencies, on technology planning and policies, and findings from his research on "national innovation system" related facts of "actors and factors" discernible in leading countries like Japan, South Korea and the United States.

The prospective participants will be notified of the Webinar link and they will be able to download an e-Book of Viewgraphs that Prof. Sharif will use in his talk. The Webinar link will be sent through email to all registered participants.
