AboutI am currently a Software Engineering Lead at Channel UC, Australia's premier distributor of business telecommunications systems and video conferencing solutions. In this role, I oversee the software development lifecycle for both our operational support and business support systems. My responsibilities include strategic planning, milestone setting, and high-level architectural design. I actively engage in backend software development, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, secure, and effectively tested. My technical toolkit includes .NET Core, Python, and a broad array of Amazon Web Services such as EC2, S3, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, and more. I have recently expanded my expertise to encompass GitHub and GitHub Actions, enhancing our CI/CD processes. Additionally, I have developed proficiency in FreeSWITCH and other telecommunication technologies, designing innovative solutions that integrate conversation AI systems and LLMs. Having completed a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Malaya, my thesis focused on the software development lifecycle for machine learning-enabled systems, building on my foundational BSc degree in Software Engineering, where I graduated with honors and received a campus Gold Medal. In the realm of identity access management, I have implemented solutions using Keycloak, FusionAuth, and custom systems based on OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML. My experience also extends to containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and I am currently exploring emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure management, microservices, serverless architectures, and MLOps. Outside of my technical pursuits, I enjoy delving into classic literature from Russian, French, and English authors, enriching my perspective and creativity.
