NIG Summer Internship in Japan 2025

Description:  

NIG summer internship program 2024 in Japan is a?funded internship?opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students who want to pursue their careers in genetics and relevant fields in life sciences abroad. This NIG Japan internship program aims at empowering young researchers from around the world. Dedicated students are encouraged to join this program to foster global cooperation and technological excellence through diverse academic activities. 

  

Course Level:   Summer Internship 

 

Grants: Round-trip airfare   Round-trip transportation between the Japanese airport and NIG.  Accommodation at the institute’s guesthouse.  Travel insurance for the duration of the program. 

 

Eligibility criteria: Applicants must have an interest in life sciences. 

  • Must be in the prefinal year of their studies at the time of application: 

  • 3rd year of a 4-year bachelor’s program. 

  • 1st year of a 2-year master’s program. 

 

  • Students aiming to enroll in the PhD program at NIG are encouraged to apply 

  • Candidates must agree to Conform to the regulations of the institute. 

  • Candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. 

  • Candidates must be able to submit an essay and a questionnaire at the end of their internship tenure. 

  • Candidates must be willing to submit all the boarding pass stubs of flights availed by the NIG. 

 

Application requirement: Detailed CV. 

  • Letter of motivation or self-advertisement. 

  • Copy of Academic transcripts. 

  • Two recommendation letters from the teachers.
