The Department of Mechanical Engineering, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) CUI Wah Chapter organized a seminar titled "Introduction to HVAC" on October 4, 2023. The seminar aimed to shed light on the fundamental principles and the prospects of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Engr. Riaz Baig and Mr. Ather Naseem Siddiqui, ASHRE Pakistan Chapter were the guest speakers and imparted their extensive expertise and insights of the sustainability of HVAC domain. The event was designed to be interactive, encouraging active participation from the students and fostering engaging discussions regarding HVAC technologies. The speaker shared their vast experiences and in-depth knowledge in the HVAC field, delving into its essential components, exciting advancements ahead with the participants.

The students actively participated in stimulating discussions, asking questions and gaining valuable insights of the HVAC industry. The engagement between the experts and the students further enriched the learning experience and fostered a deeper understanding of HVAC technologies.

In a gesture of appreciation and gratitude, souvenirs were presented to the guest speakers, with a vote of thanks by the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Atta ur Rehman Shah.
