Career in E-commerce, guest speaker session held on October 20, 2022

Career Development Center, COMSATS University Islamabad successfully organized a guest speaker session on the topic: Career in E-commerce at CUI, Islamabad campus. The Session was held on October 20, 2022, and Mr. Zeeshan Saleem, Manager-CSR, Zaman Technologies was the guest speaker for the session and the session was well attended by Computer Science department students.

COMSATS Projects and Careers Expo is a flagship biannual event of the Career Development Center. Career Development Center, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) in collaboration with various departments of CUI, Islamabad campus successfully organized CPCE FA22 on 28th December 2022 for graduating students of FALL 22. The response from industry and academia was so overwhelming, and by the grace of Allah (The Almighty), the event was very successful.

Around 137 organizations visited CPCE FA22, some of the big organizations which showed up at CPCE FA22 are: Maroof International, Leverify LLC, Kohinoor Textiles, Bakhsh International, Zeta Technologies, One Eleven Group, CARE, Nayatel, PTCL, AKSA-SDS, Ozi Group, Dynamics 360 (Private) Limited, Beta Angel's Apps, Arkhitech, Care Soft Pvt Limited, WRP Studios, Tangent Technologies, Ideofuzion, NBP Funds, Texinity Technologies, MGC Developers, Deals & Deals Pvt. SSBC-Startup “Sustainability Pakistan” Syed Muhammad Rafay Aijaz has attended a seminar on “Cooperation in industry and industrial parks for senior officials of Pakistan”. The seminar was held from 09th September to 22nd September 2021.

A seminar with the theme "A Next-Generation Spatial Data Infrastructure for Digital Pakistan"held on December 26, 2022, at the CUI Islamabad campus

A Seminar is being organized by the Department of Meteorology hosted by Dr. M Rizwan on December 26, 2022, titled “A Next Generation Spatial Data Infrastructure for Digital Pakistan” at the library auditorium, video conference room, Junaid Zaidi Library, CUI, Islamabad. The seminar was organized as part of the PM Green Youth Movement program. The Seminar focused on the coucountry-levelatial data infrastructure that has been developed keeping in view the Digital Earth initiatives, and K-tron’s grand initiative (Imagine–Anywhere Anytime) to create the next generation of GIS applications, integrating Earth and Planetary data on a single platform. Backed by Galaxy Enterprise System and a core component, initially developed for NASA. The distinguished guest speaker from OGDCL, Islamabad/K-tron Research Inc. (KRI) delivered the talk.
