The Chevening Scholarship application for the 2026-2027 academic year is open on August 5, 2025, and close on October 7, 2025. This prestigious UK government scholarship supports outstanding individuals with leadership potential to pursue a one-year master's degree in the UK. The application process requires applicants to have an undergraduate degree, meet specific work experience criteria, and secure an offer from a UK university. 

Course Level:          Master’s Degree

Subject:                    All fields, including interdisciplinary courses. One year full-time taught Master’s Degree Programme in any subject.

Grants:                      A Chevening Scholarship normally covers university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance, travel costs to and from the UK, an arrival allowance, a homeward departure allowance, the cost of one visa applications and a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK.

Eligibility:                To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:

• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
• Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your scholarship has ended.
• Applicants need two years of full-time work experience.
• Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honors degree in the UK but may be different depending on course and university choice.
• All Chevening applicants must submit their education documents, references, and one unconditional UK university offer.
