Dr. Zulfiqar Ali received his MS degree (2008–2010) in Telecommunication and Networks from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad (MAJU - CUST), Pakistan, with distinction. He earned his PhD degree (May 2023) from Bahria University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is working as a senior faculty member in COMSATS University, Islamabad since Sep. 2012. His research Interests revolve around different aspects of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) standards, particularly the development of solutions (architectures, algorithms, and protocols) for emerging paradigms, the Internet of Things (IoT), VANETs, Artificial IoT (AIoT), Smart Health Systems and Smart Farming. His work has appeared in several journals and conferences.
Before embarking on his PhD, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali served briefly as Lecturer at University of Lahore (UoL), Islamabad. During his professional career as a lecturer and researcher at UoL, apart from enhancing his academic excellence, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali got various opportunities to act in various other roles to carry out administration and projects management.
