Biography:

Dr.IQBAL acquired PhD from University of Vienna, Austria.Where he expertised in nanostructuring of polymers that can be used as Chemo and Bio receptors. Dr.IQBAL developed Chemical Sensor arrays and Biosensors from molecularly imprinted nanostructures for real-time and selective monitoring of volatile emanations, organic toxins and biological species . Dr. IQBAL served as Assistant Professor at Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Lahore, Pakistan. His research is focused on developing nano-structured materials, bionanocomposites, nano-particles, organic-inorganic hybrid polymers and biomaterials. In addition, he is also interested in developing Chemical & Bio-sensors, Lab on chip devices, micro-fluidics, nano/micro-fabrication of composites/bio-materials,Surgical Fixation Devices and BioMEMs/NEMS for tissue engineering, and diverse chemical and biological applications.He is currently serving as Assistant Professor in Department of Biosciences, CIIT Islamabad campus.
