Dr. Malik Nadeem Akhtar is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Bioinformatics). He received his M. Sc. and PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. His areas of research include development of methods and databases for the common Bioinformatics problems. The current work is focused on evaluation and development of computational methods for the Mass Spectrometry based Proteomics and Genomics.
