Biography:

Before joining the Department of Biosciences, CIIT, Islamabad Campus, Dr. Muhammad Muddassar earned his PhD. Degree from Korea Institute of Science and Technology/University of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea. Then he moved to insilico Protein Science Center, Korea Institute for Advanced Study, Seoul, South Korea for postdoctoral studies. After that he was awarded another postdoctoral fellowship from Structural Bioinformatics Team situated at Japanese famous institute “RIKEN” (The Institute of chemical and physical sciences). His research works mainly focused on the identification of drug like or probe molecules to inhibit the biological function of wide range of proteins from different organisms using various computational approaches. He has also worked on protein structure prediction and modeling of GPCR proteins.
