Biography:

Professor Dr. Khalida Inayat Noor

Professor Dr. Khalida Inayat Noor is a leading world-known figure in mathematics and is presently employed as an Eminent Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad. She obtained her PhD from Wales University (UK). She has been awarded by the President of Pakistan: Presidential Award for Pride of Performance . She has also been awarded CIMI Medal for Innovation , HEC best research award , Top Research Awards in Mathematics, COMSATS Institute of Information technology(CIIT), in Mathematical Sciences, several other research and best teaching awards from different universities of the world during her service there.

She introduced a new technique, now called as `Noor Integral Operator' which proved to be an innovation in the field of Geometric Function Theory and has brought new dimensions in the realm of research in this area. She is an active researcher coupled with the vast (48 years) teaching experience in various countries of the world in diversified environments. She has been personally instrumental in establishing PhD/ MS programs at CIIT. She has been an invited speaker of number of conferences and has published more than 600(six hundred ) research articles in reputed international journals of mathematical and engineering sciences. Prof. Dr. Khalida Inayat Noor has successfully supervised several MS (50) and PhD(30) students. She is the Fellow of Institute of Mathematics and Applications, UK and Chartered Mathematician, IMA, UK. Prof Dr. Khalida Inayat Noor is the Lead guest Editor for the Special Issue: Nonlinear Problems: Analytical and Computational Approach with Application. Journal: Abstract and Applied Analysis.

She has been actively participating in various fields of community service. She has established a world class Day care Centre at CIIT to serve the female community . She has been also looking after the Girls hostel. She is the Head (Chief Proctor) of Protorial Board which is responsible of the campus discipline .

She is the Head of Female Faculty/Staff and Student Affairs(FFSA). Recently, She has also been appointed as Provost of CIIT, Islamabad Campus.
