Biography:

• Obtained PhD Degree in Physics from Politecnico Di Torino (Turin) Italy in 2013.
• Member of FIRST (Fragmentation of Ions Relevant for Space and Therapy) group. The experiment was mounted at the GSI laboratories of Darmstadt, in Germany. A beam of 400 MeV/u of 12C was used on the Gold and Carbon targets.
• Worked on experiments to test “Measurements of the angular and energy distribution of the Nuclear Fragments generated in tissues by ion beam used in Hadron Therapy”.
• The basic purpose of FIRST experiment is to investigate the secondary effects on human tissues after Hadron's irradiation.
• Currently working as Tenured Associate Professor in COMSATS University Islamabad
• • Exercises and Lab Demonstrations for Radiation Physics Lab which includes mainly; GM counter; NaI(Tl) detector, Gamma Spectroscopy, Surface Barrier Detector, Gamma Spectroscopy with HPGe (High Purity Germanium Detector and SSNTD (Solid State Nuclear Track Detector). Neutron Activation Analysis using Am-Be mix source.

  Currently, I am working on Environmental Radioactivity Measurements, Dosimetry studies in Medical Hospitals and Radon Measurements using detectors, Alpha, Bata and Gamma Measurements is also my field of research. A lot number of MS and Bs students are working under my Projects
