Biography:

Qudrat Khan received B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Peshawar in 2003, M.Sc and M. Phil in Applied Mathematics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In November 2012, he successfully defended his PhD in the area of Nonlinear Control Systems from M. A. Jinnah University, Islamabad. He is working as Tenured Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad.
His research interests include mathematical modeling of electro-mechanical systems (Ground robotics and Aerial robotics, and power systems), system identification, robust model based nonlinear control design (e.g., Lyapunov theory-based designs, passivity-based designs etc.), states estimation and observation, fault diagnosis and fault reconstruction, and fault tolerant control. He has published more than 100 research articles in referred international journals and conference proceedings. Currently, he is working on the design, fabrication and flight control of an aerial robotic systems funded by HEC (cost 11 million) under NRPU.
