Dr. Omar Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed his PhD from Politecnico di Torino in 2015. He believes that the major product of the department are the engineers it produces each year. Hence, how well they fare in the market, is all the marketing the department should be focused on. That can only happen if we strive to make them better engineers, sound in engineering knowledge and equipped with all the necessary skills that are required by the industry. This is the reason he, along with his colleagues, urges the students to participate in co-curricular skill building activities like different engineering contests and training sessions.
