Tenured Associate Professor,
Over 20 years of
teaching and research experience. Author of 250 research publications. Impact
factor of 243+. Successful supervision of 69 MS thesis and 3 PhD
thesis. International collaborations and linkages in UK, USA, KSA & China
Dr. Shah received B.Sc and M.Sc
degrees, both in Computer Science from University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in
2001 and 2003 respectively. He completed his MS degree in Security Technologies
and Applications from University of Surrey, UK, in 2010, and has passed his PhD
from University of Bedfordshire, UK in 2013. Since July 2004, he has been with the Department of Computer
Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently, he is serving as an Associate
Professor.
His research interests include Cyber Security, Internet of Things, VANETs, privacy preservation
and energy efficient communication
systems. Dr. Shah received the Best Paper Award of the International Conference
on Automation and Computing in 2012.
Dr. Shah is leading the research group Performance
Evaluation and Enhancements of Computing Systems (PEECS) within his department.
Currently, Dr. Shah has supervised 3 PhD students and 57 masters’ students. 10 masters’ students are currently enrolled for
their dissertation
under his supervision.
Dr. Shah is the author of more than 240 research articles published in national and international conferences
and journals.
