Dr. Kiran Munir is Assistant Professor at Department of Biosciences. Her research focuses on bioremediation technology that is the most effective tool to manage the polluted environment and recover contaminated soil. Dr. Munir is particularly interested in this emerging technique, because it can be used for the preservation of environment. These techniques use naturally occurring bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts or plants to detoxify substances hazardous to human health and/or environment.
