Biography:

Ms. Asma Shabbir is working as Lecturer at Department of Management Sciences at COMSATS University Islamabad. She joined COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus back in 2017, and later on transferred to COMSATS University (Islamabad Campus) in  Jan, 2023. Presently, she is doing her PhD from Bahria Business School at Bahria University Islamabad. Prior to this, she has done MS in (Management Sciences) from COMSATS University Islamabad. She has done BBA(Hons) from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Islamabad. She was a Merit-Scholarship holder through out her Educational journey. She has also secured a Campus Level Gold Medal in BS(BA) due to her outstanding performance. Her area of Specialization is Human Resource Management/ General Management.

She started her Professional career from a Corporate world (Industry) and joined Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad as Management Trainee. After that, she joined Paradigm Technologies Pvt Ltd., Islamabad as HR Coordinator and later on promoted as HR Specialist. After that, she moved to  Academia (Education) and joined Center for Climate Research and Development (CCRD) at COMSATS University Islamabad as Project Coordinator under an International funded project in collaboration with IISD, Canada and UNDP, Pakistan and till date she is serving in COMSATS university.

She has published several Research papers in reputable HEC recognized International and National journals. Besides this, she has also attended and presented her research work in various National and International Conferences, and also secured BEST Paper Award(s) as well. She has also published a Case Study along witha a Teaching Note in UK Case Study Center. Beside this, she has also served as Program Coordinator BS(A&F) and a Team Coordinator for Student Support Center (SSC) in COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus. Her area of research interest includes Organizational Psychology; Human Behavior; Leadership & Personality; Creativity & Innovation; TQM and Service Quality. She has taught courses of general management i.e., Global Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Negotiation etc. Along with teaching, she has been performing several administrative roles at the department level.
