Dr. Obaid ur Rehman is a lecture of Electrical Engineering at COMSATS university Islamabad, Pakistan. He obtained his undergraduate degree in BSC. Electrical Engineering from Riphah International University Islamabad on the basis of outstanding talent scholarship from government of punjab in 2010. He did his master degree in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad in 2013, thesis title `` Energy Efficiency and Location Tracking in Wireless Sensor Networks''. He defended his Ph.D on 9th November 2022, thesis title ``Impact of High Solar Photovoltaic Penetration on Power System Operations''. Research Interests: 1. Develop innovative research work in deterministic, stochastic and data driven optimization models in the context of distribution and transmission grid operations (economic dispatch and optimal power flow). 2. Model different sources of uncertainty (renewable energy and demand) in power systems planning and operation. 3. Implement energy flexibility strategies for buildings, clusters, and communities in interaction with smart grids and dynamic pricing of electricity.
