Dr. Neelum Almas is an Assistant Professor in English Literature at the Department of Humanities COMSATS University Islamabad. She has been teaching various courses in English literature to MS English graduates. Her PhD research specialized in feminism and postmodern texts. Before joining COMSATS University in Fall 2022, she served at Foundation University Islamabad for seventeen years. She won NUML-UNT (USEFP) and HEC IRSIP Fellowships to study at University of North Texas and Ball State University Indiana USA during her PhD. She supervises MS/MPhil and PhD theses related to feminism, postmodernism, ecocriticism, postcolonialism and diaspora studies. She loves reading in her free time and writes poetry and short stories.
