Biography:

Dr. Abdur Rahim, working as an Associate Professor (Tenured) at the Department of Chemistry, COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. He received Ph.D. degree in Inorganic/Electroanalytical Chemistry from State University of Campinas, Brazil in 2013. His research is driven by several different approaches, namely: Fabrications of Nanomaterials, Nanocomposites, Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Materials, Conductive Polymers, MOF, Biomimetic Nanomaterials for Electrochemical Sensors, Biosensor, Colorimetric Sensors, Energy devices, Supercapacitors and Batteries Applications. Dr. Rahim has published more than 90 research articles in peer reviewed journals, with total IF >450, total citations >2450 and H-index 28. He has published more than 20 book chapters, and editor of a Book series with Elsevier, entitled:  Nanomaterial-based metal Organic Frameworks for Single atom Catalysis. Dr. Rahim supervised more than 30 MS students and 5 PHD supervise.  Dr. Rahim won and successfully completed different funding projects (HEC-NRPU, PSF-MSRT, SRGP and CIIT). He attended many international conferences in different part of the world (Pakistan, Brazil, UAE, Egypt, USA, Canada, and UK). Dr. Rahim is reviewer of different journals of Elsevier, Springer, ACS and RSC.
