Biography:

Fawad zaman received his MS and PhD degrees in Electronic Engineering from International Islamic University, Islamabad in 2009 and 2013 respectively. Since July 2014, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Pakistan, where currently he serves as a Tenured Associate Professor. From 2021 to 2022, he was a Post-Doctoral research fellow at the department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London, UK. He is the lead guest editor of several special issues. He has also served as program committee member, reviewer and session chair for several international conferences. He has successfully supervised 15 MS and one PhD students. He is the author of more than 50 research articles and currently, he is working on the NRPU project awarded by HEC, Pakistan, in the field of faulty antenna arrays. He is an approved HEC supervisor and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council as Professional Engineer.

His research interests include Array Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Beamforming, Direction of Arrival Estimation, Antenna Arrays, MIMO Radar Systems, Optimization Techniques.
