Biography:

Dr. Shabbir Ahmad obtained his M.Sc degree in Statistics from the PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan, in 2002 and his M.Phil degree in Statistics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2005. He served as a Statistical Officer in National Accounts Wing, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) during 2006-2007. He obtained his PhD degree in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics, Institute of Statistics, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2013. He is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Cantt campus, Pakistan. His current research interests include Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Application of Sampling Techniques.
