Biography:
Dr. Qasim Raza Khan is an accomplished researcher specializing in applied economics, with a strong focus on green growth and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Nanjing University, China, he holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Beijing Technology and Business University (2024). Dr. Khan has been serving at COMSATS University Islamabad since 2017 in the Department of Management Sciences, contributing actively to teaching, curriculum development, research and academic activities. His teaching interests include accounting & finance, governance, and applied econometrics. His expertise extends to advanced econometric tools, including Stata, EViews, R, and MATLAB, enabling robust policy-relevant analyses.
His primary research interests includes green finance, technological change, FDI and sustainable economic growth. Dr. Khan has published more than 16 research articles in well-reputed SCI and SSCI indexed journals, including Resources Policy, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, and Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy. He employs advanced quantitative and econometric techniques, such as Global Malmquist–Luenberger productivity analysis, panel cointegration methods, dynamic panel models, and quantile regression approaches. His current research agenda focuses on AI-enabled green innovation, green growth measurement, and sustainable development pathways in emerging and advanced economies. Beyond research, Dr. Khan actively participated in international conferences, such as the Silk Road & Young Dreams Forum (Beijing, 2023) and the Divine Economics Conference (Pakistan, 2023). His work bridges academic rigor and policy impact, advancing sustainable economic growth in developing economies.
