Biography:

Dr. Qasim Raza Khan is an accomplished researcher specializing in applied economics, energy economics, and industrial trade economics, with a strong focus on sustainable development and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Nanjing Normal University, China, he holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Beijing Technology and Business University (2019–2024) and a Master’s in Management Sciences (Finance) from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. With over seven years of academic experience, Dr. Khan has published extensively in high-impact journals, including Resources Policy, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, and Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy, exploring themes such as green finance, industrial decarbonization, and natural resource management. His expertise extends to advanced econometric tools, including Stata, EViews, R, and MATLAB, enabling robust policy-relevant analyses.

Beyond research, Dr. Khan has held lecturer positions at COMSATS University and Chenab College of Commerce, where he contributed to curriculum development and student mentorship. He has also organized key academic and industry events, including the Pak-China Industrial Expo (2015, 2022) and delegations to foster Sino-Pak collaborations. Recognized for his scholarly contributions, he received the Best Paper Award (SAICON 2018) and the Best Teacher Award (2018). His ongoing projects examine green industrial transitions and net-zero emission strategies, with China National Research Foundation. Fluent in English and conversational Chinese, Dr. Khan actively participated in international conferences, such as the Silk Road & Young Dreams Forum (Beijing, 2023) and the Divine Economics Conference (Pakistan, 2023).
