Dr. Muhammad Hasan Jamal received his B.S. degree in Computer and Information Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2005, his M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 2008, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA in 2015. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Research Associate and Senior Research Associate with Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, UET, Lahore. He was a Graduate Technical Summer Intern at Sandia National Laboratory, Albuquerque, NM, USA in the summer of 2015. Since 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore campus. His research interests include parallel and distributed systems, scientific computing, data analytics, and NLP. He was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship for his Ph.D. studies.
