Biography:

Dr. Rabiah Rustam is an Associate Professor at the Department of Humanities COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus. She holds Doctorate Degree in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in Pragmatics. She is a convener and member of various Departmental and Campus level platforms for academics, research and management. She has been teaching a variety of courses on Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Basic English, Business Communication, Report Writing Skills and Communication Skills. She has been actively participating in a variety of teacher training programs offered by the Regional English Language Office of the Embassy of United States in Pakistan and has also been a Global Member of TESOL, USA. She is also a member of the action group for the Project on Pakistan English Language Teaching Forum initiated by Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad in collaboration with Regional English Language Office of the Embassy of United States in Pakistan. She is also a member of the Board of Studies, Department of English Hazara University, Mansehra. As a teacher trainer, she has been contributing to the workshops and seminars on language teaching and the integration of critical thinking with language teaching.
