Biography:

Dr. Ahson Jabbar Shaikh is a Tenured Associate Professor of Chemistry, Group Head of Materials Chemistry, HEC approved PhD supervisor, DAAD Visiting Researcher at University of Cologne, Germany (2018), and a Marie Curie Fellow (2010). He is working in COMSATS since 2012. He completed his graduate studies from Bremen, Germany; PhD from Delft, the Netherlands; and postdoctoral studies from Stellenbosch, South Africa. Currently, he is working in the field of nanomaterials for their applications in solar cells, sensors, and biomedicine for drug resistant bacteria. He has received significant national and international funding from research organizations, has published high quality publications with cumulative impact factor of more than 200, received few winning prizes in competitions all over Pakistan, is occupied in many editorial and reviewal activities, and also participates in invited talks.
