Biography:

Prof. Dr. Shahid Ahmad Rajput specialises in Islamic Art and Archaeology, inducted to serve as Professor in the Dept. of Architecture and Design at CUI Islamabad. Now heading the Department of Heritage Studies at CUI Sahiwal Campus. Additionally he is also heading the Dept. of Horticulture in the same Campus. As for the Heritage of Pakistan he has a leading role in the promotion and protection of the national heritage, during his tenure he organised two international conferences on Harappa. Played an important role to collaborate with the Dept. of Archaeology, Government of Punjab for the protection of Harappa archaeological site and to bring it on the World Heritage list of UNESCO. He has a number of publications on the subject of Islamic Art and Archaeology to his credit which can be accessed on Academia and Research Gate.
