Dr. Saqib Ali is an Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University Utara Malaysia and is a Certified Trainer under the Malaysian government's HRD Corp program. With his Train-The-Trainer (TTT) certification, Dr. Saqib Ali has developed expertise in professional training and capacity building, further enhancing his ability to bridge academic research with practical applications.
Since joining COMSATS University in January 2018, after serving at the University of Lahore, Dr. Saqib Ali has been actively involved in teaching, research, and academic development. He contributes to the development of teaching case studies that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Dr. Saqib Ali’s research focuses on addressing global challenges through sustainable practices, aligning closely with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His work supports SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through studies on sustainable consumer behavior, green innovations, and organic cosmetics. He advances SDG 13 (Climate Action) by promoting renewable energy adoption and green technologies. His initiatives on food waste reduction and social media-driven sustainability practices contribute to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). Additionally, his work enhances economic growth and innovation through green initiatives (SDG 8) and sustainable product development (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). Dr. Saqib Ali also examines gender differences in adopting sustainable products and technologies, supporting SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and his studies on urban retailing and shopper well-being contribute to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
