Biography:

I am experienced professional of Oil and Gas in drilling industry. Having 4 years of working as a Field Engineer (Baker Hughes) in Qatar. Joined Department of Earth Sciences COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus in 2012 as a Research Associate and in 2015 transferred to Department of Meteorology, COMSATS University Islamabad Campus. Completed PhD from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2023. The topic for my doctoral dissertation was chosen because it has attracted the interest of the scientific community on a global scale due to its demand for accelerating exploration and exploitation activities in sedimentary basins with established reservoirs, particularly due to the importance of hydrocarbon resources to the national economy. Second, this approach emphasizes the close connection between academic and industrial research. The potentiality of the reservoir formation (B-Sand) in Pakistan's NIM Exploration Block has been addressed using seismic characteristics, post-stack inversion, and petrophysical analysis. In my defense, I said that the well logging data and petrophysical analysis findings were utilized to corroborate the inversion algorithm results. I used a variety of traditional methodologies in my dissertation to address the aim of hydrocarbon potential. I worked very hard to accomplish the goals that satisfy the PhD degree criteria.
