Biography:

Dr. Faisal Najeeb has been working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan since Jan. 2023. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering (Medical Image Processing) from COMSATs University in Fall 2021. As a part of his PhD research, he also worked at Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre (SPMIC) University of Nottingham UK. He received his BS in Electronic Engineering from Int’l Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan and MS (Telecom. Eng. and Networks) degree from IQRA University Islamabad, Pakistan. He has worked as a Lab Engineer (Feb. 2009 – Dec. 2011) in Electronic Engineering Department at IQRA University Islamabad Campus. Before that (Feb. 2008 – March 2009) he was working as a Technical Support Engineer at Huawei Technologies Pakistan. He is a member of ISMRM, ESMRMB, PEC and IEEE. His main research interests include signal processing, deep learning and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) reconstruction techniques.
