Shafia Hussain, currently a Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. With a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Networks and Wireless Communication, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. My job responsibilities are to Deliver Lectures and design, conduct and assess labs in the D2D Communication for 5G and Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation's, Power Electronics & Electro mechanical Systems, Digital Logic Design, Engineering drawing, Microprocessor and Interfacing & signal and system area as per departmental requirement. Operation, maintenance and inventory management of lab equipment and consumables .Preparation and grading of laboratory and other exams. Selection and upgrading of lab equipment as required. Any other duty assigned by the department/supervisor. â–ªMy Research interests are Design and Implementation of a Miniaturized Second Order Frequency Selective FilterIn this research, a miniaturized dual-band frequency selective surfaces with second-order band-pass response at each operation band is presented. The design is implemented by cascading a two dimensional periodic array of double square loops and an array of wire grids. The proposed structure composed of three metal and two dielectric layers acts as a spatial dual band microwave filter with large band separation. â–ª SIW Based Filter Design for Wireless Devices electromagnetic (EM) spectrum is becoming more crowded, and it is densely populated with various wireless signals and parasitic in terferers in connection with communication and sensing services. Increasingly sophisticated radio-frequency (RF), microwave, and millimeter-wave filters are required to enable the selection and/or rejection of specific frequency channels.
