Biography:

Dr. Javid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan since 2009. He earned his Master of Science in Accounting in 2009 from School of Business, Economics and Law, Gothenburg University, Sweden. He received PhD degree from COMSATS University Islamabad in 2020.

His research interests are Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Panel Data Analysis, Corporate Finance and Management Accounting. He holds the skills in different programing languages such as SAS, Python and R and completed different advanced courses from Coursera.

Currently, he is teaching different courses to graduate and undergraduate students which include Advanced Techniques in Data Analysis, Corporate Finance, Advanced Management Accounting, Quantitative Techniques, Econometric Methods in Finance, and Statistical Inference. He is also reviewer of different accounting and finance journals of Springer, Elsevier, and Emerald. He has been award one of top five international student by Rotary International House Club (RISH) scholarship in 2009. Currently, he is supervising students of MS and PhD.
