Biography:

Dr. Nabila Khurshid is an Associate Professor (Tenured) in the Department of Economics at COMSATS University Islamabad. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics with a specialization in Development Economics. A distinguished scholar, she earned gold medals in both her bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology from the University of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, and her master's in Rural Development from NWFP Agriculture University Peshawar. Her teaching and research interests span Applied Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, International Economics, Rural Development and Tourism, as well as Environmental and Agricultural Economics. Dr. Khurshid has published extensively in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and the NTS Subject Committee in Economics. She has also contributed to research as a Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) in an NRPU-funded project, successfully completed in 2020. Over the past seven years, she has supervised research dissertations for 10 master’s and 28 bachelor’s students. She is also an HEC-approved PhD supervisor.
