Biography:

Dr. Rahmat Ullah is working as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He joined Centre for Quantum Physics (CQP), COMSATS University, Islamabad in 2011. He completed PhD in theoretical Quantum Optics from Department of Physics, COMSATS University in 2015. He did post-doc. from Center for Photon Information Processing (PIP), and School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, South Korea from April 2016 to February 2017. His research interest includes generation of structured light in atomic media, Photon echo based quantum memories, subwavelength atom localization, surface plasmon polaritons, Quantum heat engine and optomechanics.
