Syed Raise Akram, an accomplished professional in the field of Electrical Engineering, is driven by a passion for cutting-edge research and innovation. His journey unfolds as a tapestry of academic excellence, hands-on experience, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge.

Education has been the cornerstone of Syed's professional journey. He earned his Master's in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics System Design from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Islamabad, Pakistan. Syed's educational odyssey also includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecom from Sarhad University of Information and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan.

Syed's foray into the professional realm began in 2010 when he assumed the role of Electronic Systems Designer at NESCOM, Islamabad, Pakistan. His responsibilities included schematic capturing, component creation, and PCB layout designing for analog, digital, and power electronics. His proficiency extended to high-speed PCB design and signal integrity, showcasing a multifaceted skill set in electronic systems.

In 2015, Syed transitioned to the role of Automation Manager at ICON Systems Pvt Ltd, Islamabad, Pakistan. Here, he contributed to the design and implementation of industrial automation projects using ABB, SIEMENS, and Allen-Bradley PLC Systems, highlighting his adaptability and versatility in the dynamic field of automation.

The pinnacle of Syed's career manifests in his current role as a Lecturer at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad. His contributions extend beyond the classroom, involving groundbreaking research projects. Notably, Syed has been actively involved in the ALICE ITS Upgrade project at CERN, Switzerland. His work on hardware design and development for the ALICE ITS Emulator, using XLINIX FPGA, is a testament to his engagement with pioneering research in particle physics. Furthermore, as a Co-Principal Investigator of the Pakistan National Student Satellite Program (SUPARCO, Pakistan), Syed has showcased leadership in hardware design for the SRCS and ERS systems.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Syed has delved into the realm of academia, teaching courses such as Applied Physics for Engineers, Control Systems, and Real-Time Embedded Systems.
