Biography:

I am Fida Muhammad, Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Design COMSATS University Islamabad.

I have a Bachelor degree in Design from NCA Lahore and Masters from University of Bolton UK. I have plenty teaching and industrial experience in Pakistan and abroad and I have done quite a few exhibitions, participated in conferences, and conducted workshops in hand loom Craft industry in different regions of Pakistan sponsored by UNESCO and US AID. I have spent last Twelve years in Department of Art and Design CUI with all honesty and exemplary dedication. I had valuable contributions in Pak China Conference, 2012 and two day first Vice Chancellors’ Forum Serena Islamabad on Higher Education in the Islamic world and was integral part of the Organizing committee of two international conferences i.e. Pedagogy Conference 2018 & IAF conference Islamabad in November 2019 in the department of Architecture and Art & Design. Since 2011 to date I have been appointed as sports coordinator for the Department of Art and Design. I represent department in miscellaneous committees including Department Academic Review Committee (DARC). I am also a member and group leader of Comsats Proctorial Board since 2012, and also In Charge Design Program since 2019 to date. I take my profession seriously and enjoy being integral part of academia.
