Biography:

Dr. Sana Sabahat is working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. She earned her Ph.D from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2011. Her Ph.D thesis title is "Electrochemical and Spectroscopic Studies of Ferrocene Modified Gold Nanoparticles". Her major area of research work is synthesis and functionalization of Gold Nanoparticles for biological applications, synthesis and fabrication of electrode materials for fuel cell and Li-ion batteries, theoretical modelling of drug-DNA interactions. She has supervised undergraduate and graduate research projects/thesis. She has completed HEC-start up and COMSATS research projects as Principal Investigator. She has been awarded HEC-NRPU project in 2017.
